Mr. Robert S. Greene

Mr. Greene has had two careers: writer and musician. A three--time winner of Writers Guild awards, he worked under Edward R. Murrow in Washington during the Kennedy administration. Later he wrote and conducted his widely acclaimed concert series on the life of the pianist/composer Jelly Roll Morton. His scripts have appeared in anthology, he has recorded for RCA Victor, and performed the piano score for the Louis Malle film "Pretty Baby." His "Television Writing" was a standard text during the early days of television and he taught script writing at Columbia. His book "Blum--San!" is a biography of Paul C. Blum, world traveller, important agent/diplomat during World War II, writer and bibliophile.
